This announcement is the latest product to launch as part of Uber’s plans to help people make more sustainable travel choices with Uber.

Save on every trip: As our most affordable option, riders will receive everything they love about UberX at a more affordable price, even when not matched with another passenger. When matched, the savings can get up to 30%!
Make a sustainable choice: UberX Share provides a greener way to get from A to B by moving more people in fewer cars. Sharing your ride will help reduce emissions and congestion in your city.
Decongesting Bucharest: The capital is the eighth most congested city in the world according to the Traffic Index. A ride shared by multiple passengers helps reduce emissions and city congestion.
